Main Topics
Overview
Paediatric Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) offer unique challenges ranging from those related to patient size to those dealing with brains and lives not fully developed. This conference invites us to explore the causes, treatments, and successes of dealing with this vulnerable group.
Accordingly, we are confronted with victimization issues in treating paediatric TBI. We focus on this solemn facet among the many interesting and vital dynamics to be presented and discussed throughout this event. You are welcome to participate by leading workshops, presenting research, sharing in roundtable discussions, hearing important lectures, and engaging in the formal and informal conversations that give this academic Congress life.
TBI and SCI papers may be integrated into single topic sessions where that makes sense. Otherwise, the Scientific Committee may decide to host sessions dedicated exclusively to traumatic brain injury or spinal cord injury separately. We look forward to your information regarding TBI and SCI as it impacts the lives of people under age 25, especially those victims of accidents, violence, and war.
